Well that was a lonely spin. Was a bit late and missed you at m50 bridge by about 5 mins I reckon. Chased like mad up kilmashogue and caught Andy just as he caught Culchie fixing a puncture. Went along with them towards woca woca's and had stupid over the bars and had to straighten saddle and brakes etc. Caught back up to the guys at bottom of climb towards mini bog and went past them. Then caught Ste t and Marko I think just after turning off WW for bag o chips and then had a lonely spin back on the road in the pissing rain. Was just reeling colm in as he pulled into Palmers. Great fun all the same and was great to have someone to chase the whole way round.
yeah..another fantastic EPIC spin !! 3 in a row for me ..I'm feckin tired now..leaving the shop was hilarious monsoon weather. me and the legendary EPIC PAGAN SEX GOD RIDERS !!..Alfie, Max, Micky,ChrisM Marko,Ste, Dman and Dave Monkey ! picked up Nips, Colm and Andy along the way..
I thought I'd have to take it handy but no..had a deadly spin and waited for Chris before Ravens rock just as Max and Alfie were disappearing over it.
Then Micky caught up with us and the as I was legging it towards the entrance to the dream mile I heard the noise of the Northside Thunder God !!
We had a sprint on between me and Mick !!! but he was too strong , too much power for me !! But I had the moral victory as he had a big messy near full body dab as he forgot to turn near the rocks !!
Down the dream mile no dabs not even at the Big Nasty Puddle !!!
Got to the road and Micky put the hammer down and away he went like a rocket powered coalman !!
Me and Chris had a fine cycle back along the road in a social manner !! great spin , some craic howling encouragement at the Mick lad as the 2 of us sprinted for the hole !!
Now when I overtook Colm and Orla at Glencullen they made a fine effort to keep up..but lads..I was in the big freakin ring going up that !!
and then when I passed Paddy on the Minibog he was dabbing like a Leprechaun on acid !!
As for the other eejit with the puncture !!
Who the flippetty feck gets punctures in this day and age..you'd swear it was the flipping dark ages !!
I would just like to add that we had a fine crew leaving Alfies shop but fair play to Clom and his sidekicks for ignoring me and going early ..Clom..when typos go good !! we can only have one of a thing in EPIC and as we already have a Colm on the savage spin, you have to change your name to Clom..sounds good though very lord of the rings !!

Im really struggling up Kilmashouge Lane these days,I think I getting slower up it instead of faster!!Rode the Woca's with DaveM and Colm McG and we went along as a group.Chris was ahead of us,but I didnt bridge the gap up to him till I caught him and Byrner at the top of Prince Willies.Dropped Dave and Colm on mini bog.So me,Chris and Byrner did bag o chips and the next downhill bit (dont know name) and came out onto the fireraod laeding to dream mile.As Richie siad,us 2 had a great race up to the start of the single track,Richie shouting at me all the way!!LOL Just nipped in ahead of Richie and went down dream mile as fast as i could.Then hit the tarmac,into the big ring and TT'ed all the way home on my own.Passed 3 roadies,2 at the bottom of the hill out of enniskerry and the other at stepaside garda station.Useless the lot of them,i would have loved a tow home!!LOL Alf and Max were on fire,no way was i even close to riding with them lads tonight!! Worked a treat too, feck Stans sealant, Wocca Rocks are all the rage now. Deadly spin apart from the puncture(sssh Andy, don't tell him about the other one). Absolutely busted myself up Kilmashouge, I can't wait to get the hardtail built up to see how I've come on over the last while. made it as far as Ravems rock before the thunder gods took a piss on Andy and myself. BagO'Chips was somewhat back to it's usual self after the rain but I still cleared it in one, I love that bike. Thanks to Paddy, Orla & Clom for checking up on me when it looked like I was dead. See ye on Thursday.
oh yeah attention Mr R Trench..there was a perfect example of a training spin ..you go one week..die after Kilmashogue
2 weeks and you die at the turn down the woccas..
3 weeks you get to the Glencullen road and you are on your knees
4 weeks you get to the top of the minbog..but
at that stage its downhill all the way and you can limp back to Palmers..
bollixed but happy !

one time Damo and Alfie had to push Rogan home he was that bollixed..
one night I didn't get home till 11 because some people were just so slow,
Staying away because you cannot do it door to door in 2 hours is madness..trying every week to get further is the way to go..and while I might mock the early birds..I still respect them but I want them to get up to savage level.
If you cannot make the start time..see if others will meet you somewhere..dont wait for me to do it.
