Cheap Roundup weedkiller?

I reckon my Wicklow cousins will have the inside scoop on this, I have weed issues on the drive. Where can I get some? Skip, Ger, Karl, Stew?

Don, roundup is the stuff alright but is very hard to find cheap!

What kind or area do you need to treat? I recently picked up two for one 5 litre cans of roundup at the till in B&Q Liffey Valley. Would be perfect if you don't have too big an area to cover but didn't go near covering my driveway (down in Wickla).

I usually get the season out of a box of Path-Clear. It is probably second best to roundup but significantly cheaper if you have a large area to cover.

Oh and if you have a knapsack sprayer and buy the stuff you mix up rather than the ****ty little ready to spray containers it'll go alot further. If you don't have a knacksack sprayer I could lend you one for a day or two but only for a day or two as I'll need it for work!

Cheers John, I have the sprayer doo hickey alright and used concentrated Roundup last time, very effective but very expensive!

I was once, my moderation privileges were withdrawn after I moderated someone, it's against the charter it seems.

Not sure if they sell it in smaller quantities, we buy the big drum of it alright. Woodies sell it in 5l containers for about €80 or in 1l containers, about €30 or thereabouts I think. A one liter container would fill a 20l sprayer 3 or 4 times but that would cover a fair area, it only needs a very light mist over the weeds, you don't need to saturate them.
