In perfect working order its about 18 months old only reason im changing it is that it doesnt fit my new frame. I just fitted a new cable and also added a spring to assist the cable returning so it works better.

Al, I'm thinking of getting one of these but my seat tube is 30.0. Most of them are done in 30.9 and 31.6. What would you suggest?

they do a 27.2 one and you could get a shim to make it fit then. Its about the only way you could get a dropper post to fit your frame. 30.0 is an odd size thats not very popular

I have one of these in the remote version http://www.pure-race.com/KS%20i850.html. Its been kick round the shop for ages and is a bit scuffed but never used and its 27.2 I could do you a good price on it.

30.0 seems to be an american size. Kona and Iron Horse both use it.

most konas are 30.9 but it was a favourite or iron horse alright, must have been why they went bust

I am very proud of my Iron Horse 6.8 all mountain machine. Specced out with top parts it is a pleasure to rip trails on! Fashionable or not!!
