Dealextreme Lights: How long the battery lasting?

Hmmm 2-year old light with the 4-cell rechargeable battery pack, the battery gives up after about 45 mins, reckon the battery is shagged.

These lights seem to be inefficient in that they get very hot, that's where your battery energy is going to.

Anyone having this problem of a dying battery? And any cure? I don't see anywhere to buy a replacement battery.

(Yea I know now the Hope Vision 2 is a better light) >:(

Agree there not that efficient and not all that good but they are cheap

I have just replaced my battery from deal extreme. It cost €22 for the new one. Keep the old one as a reserve, no problems!!

The lithium ion batteries are good for 5000 cycles. Are you charging it in anger?

Probably a bit late now but it's important to charge these batteries periodically during the summer months!

Yeh, I would agree with that as it is exactly what I didn't do. I never had a jot of trouble last winter season with the light until I started using it this winter having been left in the shed all summer. I reckon a few charge / discharge cycles would keep her lit!
