These days its all about the twitter even Byrner is turning his hand to the Twitter machine. SO this popped up this evening and thought I'd share with the group.
Superstar components have released a bar at 915. If anyone runs these at this size you are a complete bell end.
They call it the Yardstick apparently, so is 915 just a step up in the mickey measuring contest for those that like wider bars. What's normal or there abouts? Or is being a bell end the way forward ( Again we're talking handlebars before Byrner gets the camera out)
wide bars are fookin stupid..the way i see it, handlebars should be as wide as they need to be...if you can't get through the fence at the bottom of the Quarry trail with your bars then you are a gimp and a slave to magazines..
Try to keep up with the likes of Damo, Alfie, Joe, Robin or Oisin on there non racing bikes and see how wide your bars are make no difference.

I am so tired of people fiddling with their bars, their tyres and all manner of fookin accessory to try and make themselves a better rider..just go out, throw your leg over the poxy bike and snot yourselves a few times pushing your limits and stop reading magazine articles written by ****sucking bike journos who couldnt ride their way out of a turkish brothel ..
I'm not worried at all about my bars, I just though you could do with a bit of a rant that didn't involve Coillte :) And knew this would hit the mark just right.

After years of number crunching I have concluded 660-700 is the sweet spot for EPIC spins. Any wider is madness unless you are duking it out with Greg and Dan, and any narrower is looking for trouble. And remember, measure once, cut twice, measure again, cut again, get a new hacksaw blade, try the Black and Decker, don't breath in the carbon dust, cut again, chuck what's left in the bin, call Alfie or Al.
