nukeproof headset

recently got a nukeproof warhead 34 headset for my xc bike.im confused a little about the installation.does the top cup have to sit completly flush with the top of the headtube?i have never fitted a headset like this before and didnt want to damage it by trying to get it into the headtube until i knew for sure what way it is meant to go in.the taper if the headset sits loosly into the headtube and when all is assembled together it all feels fairly tight?

has anyone got any advice that can put my mind at rest before i ride?

fitting a headset incorrectly can **** up your frame. By the sounds of your post you shouldnt bother trying to do it yourself. Bring it to a bike shop who arent going to use a block of wood and a hammer to install it and pay the 15 euro or so to have it done correctly and not mess it up urself

fully understand this,im not going to attempt to destroy anything and ruin any part, but should the top cup seat down into headtube?

yes all headset cups should fit flush with the ends of the head tube weather it is a semi integrated or standard headset
