Ladies MTB Wanted/advice

Hey guys trying to get "the Boss" into biking. She has agreed to give it a go so long as I provide the wheels! She's a massive 5ft 2 and very light. Don't really know what would suit her, any help appreciated!

id recomend getting something with about 125mm travell on the front avoid all the womesn specific bikes like that canyon as there all xc race bikes. They have scarry geometry for beginners. Something light is gonna make it easy for her on the climbs and also make it more manouverable. By going for a bike with a longer fork it will make the front of the bike higher and give her more confidence when things start pointing downhill. Meaning she won't get scared off as easily. Bikes like the cove stiffee/santa cruz chamellion for example are ideal although a bit pricey Saracen do a range with similar geometry to a stiffe which won't sting the wallet as much there called the ZEN and have bikes from about 750-1750 for a full bike. I wouldn't reccomend going for a jump bike either as there a bit to hard to pedal round unless your a savage. The likes of the Zen fall inbetween an xc bike and a jump bike.

It goes like a dream... Big people don't like it because its geometry and suspension seems to be suited to elegant, dainty, ballerina types, like myself and Mr Byrnes wife, sorry I mean boss.

Buy her this bike and she's guaranteed to love you for ever and ever... its a beauty.

My nephew has a GT lopes, which is a size small 4x bike. small, with very forgiving angles. has fox float 120 forks, hope brakes, Lx drivetrain. would suit ideally.
I'll see if he wants to sell it.
