I run the 2.4s on the front and rear with stans (which as previously stated was a doddle to fit)on my downhill bike, and they are brilliant. They are much lighter than most downhill specific tyres and when pared with stans rather than DH tubes, it works out at nearly 800g lighter PER WHEEL compared to a standard DH set-up. Because of this acceleration is super fast (Rolling mass and all that doo-dah). They grip really well when my weight is centered on the bike, and when i shift forewards over the bars its really easy to feel the back end getting lose and allows controlled drifting. LOVE EM!!!

I've fitted these on my bike and they scare the life out of me! At 50psi (as recommended) they bounce and skip over bumps and stones. On a fast downhill fire road which I ride once a week I had to slow down as the bike had no grip. Avoid. At 40psi they still offer little in the way of grip.

Nothing like a fast Downhill fireroad to test out your tyres

Bump, will swap for a lightly used UST Rocket Ron or Racing Ralph.
