Trainer Tyre

Anyone know where I could get a trainer tyre locally?
Shredded two old regular tyres!!
Alfie any in stock?

Jeysus .... last week it was clip on Tri bars, this week a tyre for a turbo trainer ..... and you wonder why Byrner gives you a hard time!

If Alfie hasn't got one I'd be pretty sure the CSS would have!

Terry - apparently standard road tyres fall asunder (heat maybe?) on a turbo trainer so they make a heavy duty one for the job!

Yeah it's a 700c thanks Terry but i'm going to get a proper trainer tyre, a normal road one just doesn't last the pace. They get hot and shred... Gone through 2 in 3 months!!

the trainer tyres are softer to make them quieter they will wear out even quicker. Once had a guy in the shop whos wife was going mad after his sitting room was destroyed with bits of blue rubber all over the place.

Only ever had one tyre on my trainer. Adjust the tension against the tyre.

shut up..let him buy the stupid ones Ross got in to the shop..everytime I look at them they annoy me..
anybody who rides a turbo trainer who isn't injured deserves to be ripped off..Ronan, edit that thread !
there are so many spins going on in EPIC, its sacrilege to be riding a turbo when its 11 degrees out at night..the ones we have are like leather..they are not the soft ones !

I haven't been on it in a year or so. Andrew has it at the moment and he's in cause he's broken. Find it mind numbing!

It is mind numbing, but it's all about commitment!! I can't get out that often with work and college so it serves a purpose for an hour an evening...
