chain slip

hey guys, just out on the bike last night and noticed when in middle ring or whenever peddaling under pressure the chain does that really annyoing slip like it wants to come off the ring.its mainly noticeable in the middle ring!!

what adjustment can i make, is it the front derailleur not lined up correctly?

How worn are your chain / chain rings?

Your obviously putting far too much power down on the chainset, I suggest easing off on the oul speed!

its a new chain and just had new cassette put on the back.

middle ring prob could do with a change but it should be fine and has been fine until last night.

Change them all together
U can get a device for about 10 which tells u when your chain is in need of replacing
But it can still be useless if rings are too worn so
It's not too much pressure it's just worn out get a new ring and it should be fine

No but make sure u get the right type as there's lots of options
And some require removal of chainset so maybe to to your nearest decent bike shop
Also u may need to change others too

And check your jockey wheels, if they're knackered they'll be the cheapest to replace.

Middle rings are dead easy fit, I would say if your within striking distance of Dublin drop into expertcycles.ie Alfie won't spoof you and have you sorted in no time.

thanks for all the advice guys.ill get away with a spin in morn on lower gears but ill defo check the jockeys and middle ring.i use the guys in bespoke so ill pop down for some advice and help on it.
