Manitou guru's needed

If any genius has an answer it would be gratefully appriciated.

Oil serviced my Manitou black elite last week, but I need a small O ring that goes on the end of the rebound damping assy, Oil seems to bypass it and flows into the bottom of the fork leg and wont flow back, it reduced travel to about 30mm and botttems out like its locked out..

Drain & fill the oil again and the fork works for a little while but 30mins or so later is locked again..


Q is, are the service kits available for older forks (its an 03 or 04) If I drop it to a shop I am guessing the repair bill would buy a new fork CRC have some mega cheapo ones..

Or has anybody a fork they want to flog to a good home?

Your best bet is to bring the forks to Robin or Alfie at Expert to see if the forks are fixable..

Forks arnt broken in the greater sence of the word "broken" they work fine but I need a new O ring for the end of the damping rod..

Ill try a motor factors, sometime they will have small dia O rings that could fit.
Id be afraid of the bill to get a specialist to look a them..
