worn tire question

Is it better to have the worn tire on rear wheel and good one on front or visa versa?

Always an interesting one this!
I think anyone who's any good would prefer to have the good tyre on the front because they tend to push the front end into corners and want the best grip there!
Me on the other hand would prefer to have the best tyre on the back to give best grip/traction to get up or over hills or obstacles!

Most of your braking happens up front as well. The worn tyre behind you means that you can't see it, and you can do deadly skids.
