anybody any sneaky tips on removing drive side crank on a race face crankset which appears to be welded in place or is just a case of using a hammer to ease the thing off.
Removing drive side crank
use a big ass rubber mallet, there, Jonnnnnnnnnnny
use a big ass allen key and just unscrew
get a piece of pipe about 500mm + long and put it over the allen key, that will give you loads of leverage and it will come out no problem.
Don't listen to those maniacs, if they were hostage negotiators the hostages would all be dead by now. You gotta sweet talk that crank, put on some Barry White, light a few candles, a nice bottle of Sancerre, she'll be putty in your hands.
