I am looking for a small ladies road bike. Have been commuting to work for past 8 weeks on my mountain bike and I am getting fed up of other cyclists flying by me on road bikes! Also training for a tri so need something pretty decent, nothing too expensive as dont want it getting nicked.

"Ladies" Road Bikes are basically marketing bull****! Pretty paintjob, ladies specific saddle and a higher price! You would be much better off buying a road bike that is the correct size and changing the saddle if necessary! You will have a much wider choice that way. What height are you?
I am 5ft 1. I wish I had found EPIC MTB before I bought my mountain bike. I bought a Talon 29er because I was advised it was good for on and off road. Feel a bit like the King in Shrek on it! Mountain bike will have to do for now as I am not buying another until next year and my mtb skills improve.
