Dirtworker freeze problem

hey bike squirters
the water in the water gun part of my Dirtworker froze and burst the seal and now water goes everywhere but on the bike
anyone know of a plumbing-glue that'd reseal it unti I get a new one?

I tried a combo of UHU, superglue, mastic sealant, and insulating tape (in that order) but it's still fecked

did you try shouting at it?

I'm coming for you two eejits with my mattock...

You could try one of these replacements, but they can be hard to get though

it might be cheaper to get a new one than to come after me Fergal!

Is the seal an O-ring or something more specific? Chadwicks have O-rings in all sizes. I am sure dirtworker will send you a doo hickey to replace it.

If also tried to bodge a compromised seal before with the kind of tomfoolery you tried, it NEVER works!

Have you tried using PTFE tape..??

It's what plumbers use when sealing up joins in pipes etc..

I've used it in the past with great success...

I'ved used PTFE tape also to seal up leaks in my hoses..
cuts off the blood supply a bit though !!
