Hi guys. Im a newby to this forum.. Has anybody got experience in removing the rear triangle suspension assembly on a fs bike. I m planning a repaint of my Lapierre. Im a spray painter so it will be a piece of cake to do.. Photos before and after when job is done....

It's easy just unscrew all the bolts. The difficult part is getting the bearings out unless you have a bearing press. I made one from a 8mm threaded bolt, a large socket and few nuts and washers. Works but not as good as the real thing. Also, the pivot screws are made of a very soft alloy so be careful not too round them. And the bearings get stuck on the pivot bolts sometimes.... they did in my X-Control anyway.
I'd say you'll want to put new bearings into the frame anyway so I'd give it to a bike shop to take apart, then spray it and give it back to them for re-assembly.
