Rockshox warranty turnaround !!

Howdy ! Anybody got any idea how long rockshox take to carry out warranty work ? The lads in the local bike shop said rockshox uk could take 2-3 weeks turnaround to carry out a full refurb on my Sids ? Im not moaning im just curious to see if this is the norm ?? Thanks !!

Is Alfie aka expert cycles . ie not a rock shocks agent?

I think he told me theres no such thing in Ireland but hes the best man to look at your Rockshox anyway..my experience with Fisher ( the UK rockshox warranters is mixed, sometimes good ,sometimes bad )

Call me old fashioned but i think it might be taking the p#ss to drop a bike with warranty issues into Alfie and expect him to fix it up when it was bought elsewhere !!! If it was out of warranty i would have had it down to Expert cycles in a flash ....

i have sent a few warranties to Rockshocks via Fisher without any real problems..it took a few weeks to get a relacement maxle , I dont think theres much seriously wrong with your forks, Id say ask Alfie to have a look at them. If I'm wrong then send them back if I'm right you only miss them for a day or so , its a risk, you could lose your warranty by getting somebody other than the the official service agent to work on them. I would talk to Alfie for definite first though. It could be something really simple, my experience with ROckshox is that it usually is, unlike Fox ( which I prefer by the way ) if theres something wrong with them it can be catastrophic. Get advice from an Expert , jesus theres an unexpected pun. Don are you proud of me ?

I must check to see if they have already been sent off , if not il get them down to expert cycles to let Alfie check them out !! Good advice thanks ....
