Is this possible

Is it possible to match the two of these together with some sort of ISCG 05 adapter as the price for the HammerSchmidt on reaction just seems too good to be true.

Got an answer back from Chainreaction today.....


"Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately unless you have ISCG 05 tabs fitted to your frame you will be unable to run the HammerSchmidt system.

You cannot fit the system with an ISCG BB mounted adaptor as the HammerSchmidt bottom bracket is not compatible with this and also the adaptor would constantly spin as you rotated the cranks. Please see SRAM's warning below:

Do not mount HammerSchmidt to an ISCG adapter device. ISCG adapters do not provide enough structural integrity to handle the
weight and loads applied by HammerSchmidt. ISCG adapters are only intended as a means to mount chain guide devices to non-
ISCG frames; make sure you keep it that way."
