I was clearing out an old garden shed and came across a muddy fox mountain bike. I'm trying to find out if there is any value in it. If not I can just donate it to the local bike store. Thanks in advance.
To be honest, it doesn't look like much of a bike. It's slightly newer than I'd know about. Probably late 90s, like a 98 or so. The only thing I can see that would be of interest would be those brakes. Early looking Magura Hydraulics, but the lever looks massive, so I dunno what we're talking about. Not much value in the whole thing I'd think. I'd be interested in those brakes if you want to part it. What's on the otherside? Groupset etc. It could be a mid range, but I'd need to see it. Those triple clamp RSTs would be of interest to a nostalgia head as a piece of history, but they're not worth much really.
thats not a Vintage Muddy Fox I'm afraid, its from the late 90's after they stopped making quality MTBs and started making bikes for Argos..thats for the skip !
Thanks for the advice gents. As you could guess I'm out of my comfort zone when it comes to bikes. I'm merely trying to shift something for a family member.
