Selling my much loved 2008 Specialized Epic XC bike. This has been my training bike for the last couple of years and, as such, has been well used but always serviced regularly and has really good specification.
Frame - The Marathon is Specialized's 2nd from top model (behind the S-Works) and has an aluminium, full suspension frame. The frame is in excellent condition with no dents or dings. However the Specialized logos etc were actually painted on the frame, rather than decals, and have worn in places. Any bearings that needed replacing were done last week. The Specialized rear shock was serviced in the UK by TF Tuning at the start of the season, as it has been every year!
Forks - Fox 32 100mm Terralogic. Bought recently from OC Tuning and were serviced by them at the time. There are no marks or wear on the stanchions.
Wheels - 26" Mavic Crossrides converted with a proper Stans Kit to tubeless. Currently with Michellin UST XCR Drys fitted.
Brakes - Shimano XT front and back.
Bars and Stem - Ritchey WCS Carbon.
Seatpost - Specialized Carbon
Saddle - Fizik Gobi.
