Views/opinions on Easy Washer pressure cleaner EX-1028??

I'm looking at buying a portable washer - has anyone experience of the Rose Bikes Easy Washer pressure cleaner EX-1028 for €116 (http://www.rosebikes.com/article/eas...tail_info_tabs) it seems to be similar to the Mobi V-17 Portable Bike Pressure Washer (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/i...r/rp-prod46653). sold by chain reactions €173.

Visually they look similar and technically they seem to be the same but there is a substantial price difference. What would you recommend?

I have no experience of the Rose version Dave but have had the Mobi one for 4-5 years now and it's been faultless - great piece of kit!

I'm thinking of the same myself Dave and judging by all in the club that use them the Mobi seems to be the one to go for. The one without the battery is only €113 at the min on CRC so if it's always going to be used beside your car then you could save the few bob and go for that one, slightly smaller capacity but still plenty to was your bike down by the sounds of it...

Just clicked on the link there, that is good value compared to the Mobi. There's a 3 year guarantee so it should be safe enough. You might have just swayed me toward the Rose one now... Spend the balance on Pints to drown your sorrows when it breaks!

From what I can make out, these are effectively the same, I.e. Come out of the same factory. The price difference plus the guarantee is swaying me towards the Rose.

Let me know if you are going to go the same way. We could split the shipping cost.

Yeah feck it, send them an email and see if they'll ship 2 for the one shipping cost (I doubt it but worth a try!) I assume we'll need a euro plug adaptor to charge the battery off the mains? Let me know what they say re shipping. If there's no compromise we may as well just order separately... Do you really think they come out of the same factory???

I bought it a while a go and performs flawlessly. The pro is that you get detergent bottle so you can add in it degreaser or wax and wash liquid that in my opinion gives it a better finish.

So it turns out the Mobi, Easy Washer and Sealey are all made by the same company. In the case of the battery operated model the base unit is identical (shape, size, compartments etc.) where they differ, slightly, is the hose and spray gun. Isn't the internet wonderful!
