Bike Locks

Anyone recommend one?

Don't want to break the bank, would be nice if my bike was still there in the evening though.

How much is in the bank?

You can get tougher U-locks but they tend to be way to heavy to carry around.

Wasn't going to spend that much....dunno about U-locks either, was thinking a longer cable so secure both wheels.

I may well be wrong on both counts, though.

You can pick up free dogs at the SPCA, nothing better to protect the bike, the have this yoke at the moment (the one on the left). From Clondalkin so bound to be ruff.

Bit bulky for the rucksack, but she'd do the job.

All cable locks are crap. Without exception. It would be grand for securing the wheels (if used in conjunction with a u-lock) but I wouldn't rely on it solely.

A U-lock or massive chain is the way to to.
