Another Tyre question.

Slightly different this time.

I keep burping the air out of my tubeless tyres. They say you can run lower pressures and obviously yes I can then I try and turn too hard the air gets burped out of the tyres and its all gone to pot.

So is it the tyres or the rims ? Current tyres are nobbly nics and the rims are mavic slrs.

This has happened with other branded tyres as well, so is there any particularly good tyre and rim combo? or is there any trick to glue the tyre to the rim? something like you do with car tyres.

Dare I say it the pressure was about 30psi

front tires can burp when cornering hard especially something thats got a light sidewall and a folding bead. Just run a tube up front. Its rare you get a puncture on the front and leave the back tubeless.

Shane, I run 30psi, sometimes 31psi, and I've only burped the front tyre once during a sharp turn/crash. Maybe play with the tyre rim combo until you get a good match. I've been problem fee on Ignitors and Bulldogs. Seems a pity to have to put a tube in.
