nearly free forks wanted

My 'other bike' is an auld Giant box 2. Despite its age and history it mostly still works, except of course for the ***te Suntour dc04 triple clamp forks which have all the charm of a rusty pogo stick...without the travel.
Recession well under way chez nous so my question is ...has anyone got even a small improvement on the Suntour for very small sheckels :)
P.S.will exchange for some comic video footage from rosacrue....

Jono I have a pair of Manitou's you can have for nothing. They were on my cross country bike, forgot what model they are. PM me if ye want them.
