Good/cheap BBQ wanted..

Time to replace the pile of rust and grease that I have been poisoning people with lately, anyone seen any good deals on gas BBQ's around? I'd like one of those jobs you see on MTV cribs, but suspect I may end up with one of those tin foil ones you see in Tesco.
A nice little wood fire, allow it to burn down to embers, cook on these. Don't use your best teflon frying pan. And get a grown up to help you with the matches.
Hey Don, A friend of mine bought a 4 burner BBQ for €245 in Musgraves cash and carry. It has a grill on one side and a hot plate on the other and a gas ring for the Spuds/vegi etc. Only problem is you need to know someone with a card but I'm sure you will Find someone. You also have to build it socket set a must or the summer will be over by the time you build it with the crap supplied with it.
I have a Musgraves card! Or I did, that's not too bad.. The last BBQ I bought was the morning of a BBQ I had invited everyone to, I'll never forget the amount of bolts and crap that I had to assemble in a panic, most of the lads helped out, there was a lot of head scratching and a heap of bits left over.

I love the way southsiders talk about 'the northside' as if it were some little town in the distance that nobody visits.

I had a similiar experience with a gas bbq. On it's first outing there was a strong smell of gas, so I consulted the manual which told me to "react immediately", which I though was very vague...so I cranked up the gas a bit more.

One massive fireball later I was running out of my house..my braver flatmate ran back in, ducked under the ball of flames and pulled the top of the bottle of gas, lots of melted pieces...it's now a charcoal bbq..much nicer flavour...
What were you doing lighting a BBQ in the house in the first place you looney? Makes for a very funny story though!!!!

Brilliant, "react immediately", that could be our new club slogan!
I#ve had a few gas bbq's and they've all been crap, am going to get one of the weber charcoal kettle one's. As T-Dog said better flavor!

Well it was on our balcony which leads out of the sitting room but the only way to safety was by tearing through the house..I was going to call the fire-brigade but fair play to my flatmate he ran back in and dealt with it...
