KTM Prowler 3.0

Freewheel in Arnotts in Dublin City have given me one of these to ride till i kill it !! Now, I'm not easily impressed..I love the old orange patriot and the Giant trance/reign
but this bad boy after one spin has me converted.
I took her out for her 1st actual spin and by the end of a schlompy downhilly gnarly spin I was happy they gave it to me.
it handled everything deadly..even the climbs !! the 3.0 is the bottom of the range Freeride/Sunday spin machine..with Marzy 55's up the front giving 160mm of travel and a Manitou rearshock giving 140 on the rear..you can lock that bad boy out with a flick..
this is more travel than I think we need here..
way more travel...
the magura brakes work dang good and gears are gears..once you keep them clean and lubed..
€1700 for deadly all day bike..that you would get away with as an entry level DH bike ..thats the **** i'm talking about !!
you can pound yourself with nonsense the Brit mags come out with about this gibberish and the other gibberish..but if you want a bike that you'll have th craic on..this would be a good choice..the only thing that will limit you is having skinny chicken legs !!

Anyways, fair play to Damian. one of those marketing decisions that could easily have backfired. I'm impressed with them there KTM's. the carbon jobbies are sweeeet.

It's actually 1600 spondulix, ya dingbat! Even better value for money!!! It really is a good price for a quality entry to All Mountain biking.
