I used the tubeless XCR Muds last winter and I've just put them back on again. Look like the same tread pattern. I thought they were great - amazing grip when it gets muddy .... and it will!

the other one is the same tyre but with free tubes all though they are the same price. £12 for a set of tyres and tubes suppose you cant go wrong with that.

Ah jaysus, look what i'm after starting now i've got bad men after me with tubes :eek: i'll not be mentioning tyres again.

i've a pile of tubed tyres out in the back garden..time for them to die I think but how..
I read somewhere that Ryan Sherlock had made tubed tyres into tubeless how do you do that ?

I ran Intense non-tubeless tyres last year without tubes and on non-ust rims! Al did a ghetto set-up on the rims and inserted the "goop" - they needed to be pumped up a little before each spin but worked just fine!

Of course you can run tubed tyres on tubeless rims! You need a Stans type conversion first but just goop em good, a but freaky for the first couple of spins as the goo seeps out everywhere, but once sealed bingo bongo as they say in the trade.

Running tubed tires tubeless with stans etc... is much cheaper and gives a better ride (yeah, yeah...). It grips and rolls better as the sidewall is a bit thiner and lighter - UST tires have big tractor like sidewalls. The problem with that is they are easier to damage. Schwalbe tires have worked well for Mel and I over the last two years with only 3 sidewall tears between us, I have their UST tires too but don't like them nearly as much (see tractor comment)

I have ran the tubed tires tubeless with:
Crossmax SLR wheels (not great - rim is a bit too narrow)
Mavic 717 with Stans Tubeless Kit (about 10,000km off road and still running, great setup)
Roval Controle and Traverse Wheels
Stans ZTR 7000 and Olympic Rims

i have a Joes noflats kit and I can't get the damn things to work..i followed the instructions to the letter and i want to ghetto tubeless the wheels on Carols prophet..
