Pivot screw - help!

Hi!

I've just found out that one of the pivot screws on my Lapierre X-Control bike is missing, which would explain why the bike seemed a bit too flexy today...!

I know it's a long shot but would anybody have a spare one lying around?

My fear is that I might have to go directly to Lapierre to get one :(

Pop into the cyclesuperstore, as far as I no they have a good few of those bolts.

they have and they cost a rip of about 8 euro
even worse is,there is a washer on the other side of the bearing,
and if it has slipped out,and i'd say it has,you need to get one of them too.
they are a special shape and also about 7 euro.
crap design from lapierre if you ask me,
also stick in threadlock when you replace it or else it too could pop out.
I have scored mine at six o clock with the top of a flat head,so if they move i can check visibly as they are impossible
to access.pm me if you need a hand

Brilliant Mcnipples, just the info I was looking for! I took the bearing out and the washer is still there, phew!

I will keep an eye on those bolts from now on, this one was well hidden behind the front mech so maybe it fell out earlier... I just spotted it today.

I have a pivot bolt from a giant which i used on my lappiere when same thing happened you can borrow it if you have probs getting new one.Check other bolts for tightness mine were missing threadlock on a few also check black bottom linkage threads which may have been damaged when bolt was loose.
