Good winter jacket

I need to get a decent quality winter jacket, not heavy but breathable, windproof, rainproof etc. Any recommendations?

Altura Reflex. Have one for 2 years and its great still waterproof nice cut and plenty breathable

My Polaris Tungsten has failed at the zip - cheapo zip on a decent jacket, so don't get one of those
Endura jackets seem to have a pretty good reputation

I'm almost afraid to say it but What MTB has a group test of Winter Jackets in this months issue!

whats wrong with hair and freckles? and scar tissue..

MBUK have a test in aswell, results go like this 'top end jackets' - Gore Fusion GTX, bit pricey at £270 but scores 10/10, 'bottom end jackets' - Berghaus Paclite, £120 gets a 9/10.
I got one of those Jackets out of lidl on monday, wore it last night and i was gob smacked, i was perfectly dry, and didn't over heat in it at all, it's wind proof and at €13.99 you can't go wrong, i even went and bought another one today.
Just imagine using that Gore Jacket and clipping a tree in Djouce with a snag on it, big rip and 270 sheet down the pan.

I have an Endura Convert and find it great, waterproof, windproof, breathable and you can zip the sleeves off to 'convert' it into a gillet.

How Much though Llandai, who lives in the land of money trees!!!!

I got one of these. Have only been out once, but it was plenty breathable and waterproof. It got good reviews too

It's not a fancy ass gore-Tex or anything but it works well and good value at about 80euro!!
