What's my problem?

put the drive train from the XC bike onto the big bike and the cassette lockring is sticking/rubbing off the frame - it was the same type of cassette that was on it before and it wasn't rubbing - any idea what's wrong? the cassette is fully tightened on

Sometimes there is a spacer at the spoke side. worth a look. I assume it all tightens up as normal...

Check spacer as FF says and maybe you have some of the smaller sprockets on backwards.IF so gaps between sprockets will be bigger than normal.

pretty sure they're on the right way but I'll take it all apart again and double check
