is this wise?

Just fitted a 203mm rotor to rear wheel of hardtail
normally have a 160mm rotor fitted but had to change wheels whilst one is getting repaired

any advice whether its wise to have such a big rotor on the back?

it doesn't matter cause you shouldn't be using the brakes anyway.
