Just got a nuke proof reactor extreme light off chain reaction for 150quid which seemed cheap, but after I pushed the button I began to doubt my decision
Monsieur Kilkenny said some of you lads had opinions good or bad about Nuke Proof lights, any insights?? Is it a bargain or have I bought a lemon??
i have them..I had major trouble with them at first ,a couple of times the beam switched off the on button lit up when switched back on but the light itself would not come on..left it for a few minutes and it would start working again.
So i dismantled the lens unit , there was a plastic sort of refractor , stuck to the back of this was some 3m tape. i peeled off the backing, stuck it back in to the unit, it seemed to match up
with the little circuit board behind and they haven't failed me since.I've used them twice a week since November in every kind of **** weather.
They are a little bit too heavy a unit for a helmet light, but it works great on the Bars.
I use a hope on the helmet.
Great value at â¬150 though. Very powerful light.
