Bash rings ?

hows a going ! was out recently on a spin and took my bash ring off a tree stump was only one that is screwed into the outer ring of the chainset not the bolt type and need to find out will my chainset take a bolt type and do i need to get a bash ring with the correct teeth number to fit my chainset ?
