XC bike

I want to do a bit of xc to get fit I have about 400e to try get a good working bike but what do I need other than a bike and a helmet and what make of an xc bike.....ps (just to let you know) I have no clue about xc at all

Sean, I might have just the bike for you. How tall are you?

I don't think he comes on that much here Stew, but a 14" frame would be ideal for him.

i think byrner is right but im not that tall anyway
