Ah but Don the centre lock idea is way, way, way better than the dumb@ass 6 bolt design... you can change your discs in seconds, rather than minutes.. and it provides a much more solid way of mounting discs to your wheels and evenly distributes the load across the disc...
I would much prefer my I9's to have C-lock.. then they would be ultimate (more ultimate than they are now) wheels..
Me hoop!!!!! When last did a (normal person) change a disc? "distributes the load across the disc", heh? I'll distribute a load on your disks if you want. And when you do use your drill driver with the right torque setting and you'll be done in under a minute. It yet another freaking standard to drive as all mad, how many types of axles are there now?
Come on Don surely a seasoned wendy house builder like yourself knows all about the benefits of 'evenly distributing the load'... you know, so it doesn't end up looking like Richie's shed..!!
Maybe you are right, I'm getting a 'bang, bang, bang' sound when I apply my rear brake, it's probably when the pads are biting at the unstressed part of the disk between the bolt holes, or maybe it's the one pad that's dangling out of the caliper!
