Hutchinson Rep'air: Cyanoacrylate adhesive!

Not one puncture in about five months! Thanks Oldskool for the wheelset with Joe No more Flats kit. That system uses standard tyres with slime, and a kit around a standard rim.

So, tonight I had to tackle my first puncture that slime wouldn't seal.

The Hutchenson repair kit uses Cyanoacrylate adhesive! And the instructions say keep the patch under pressure for 1 minute.
So there I was with four fingers stuck to the tyre. Lucky I didn't tend to that scratch down below during it all.
Surely a tyre patch adhesive needs to be flexible? Dunno how long the superglue patch will last.
Patching a Joe Tubeless set-up can be done but I wouldn't like to do it on the side of a mountain.

Superglue works - repaired a big 5mm pucture hole on my tubeless and the hole is so big you can see inside to the patch
rode the nationals on it and still no loss of pressure
you'd think superglue is too brittle/ inflexible but it works!

But bring spare tube with you when your out riding so you never have to fixe on the side of the road...
