warped disc rotor

I have a small warp in my rear disk rotor. It doesn't seem to be effecting my braking but its probably wearing down my pads a bit quicker than normal. It a 203 Avid clean sweep.
Is there any trick to straitening them or am I looking at getting a new one ?

I've also bent my mech hanger used to get them here http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/M...?ModelID=23465 but that ship seems to have sailed.
Someone put up a link to a place that sold allsorts a while back but I can't find it now.

I believe smoothering it in mayonaise and placing it in a microve for 30 seconds works wonders

Byrner is right. There is also another method. A small adjustable wrench and bend it back. I've made many disc repairs using this method. Takes time but it works really well. There's a more detailed technical way of explaining it but thats the gist

If the warp is not too bad use your thumbs to push disc in opposite direction to bend.Adj wrench can be a little agressive and creat more problems.It may take a few goes to get it running true .

buy a new disc, I bought one of those park tool disc dewarpers and either my warps are the warps of El Dorado or I have been conned

Its just your heavy handed methods,Probably from tuning the horn of eldorado too often.

Are you sure its installed correctly? I once installed one at 90 degrees by mistake and had similar symptons, a slight wobble, then a strong vibration followed by a brrrrrrrrrdadadadadad, twack, ping!! Also a slight loss of braking. Never did find that rotor.
