I need to get a new mtb now. I can get a specialized bike at a bit of a discount, but I don't see many of them in epic - are they generally overpriced?

How would a Specialized Rockhopper SL Pro compare to a giant XTC for example?

Finally, I've got a dodgy back but have been riding a full suss without any problems. I know there a few people here with dodgy backs - have you had any issue with riding hardtails?

Hardtail is much worse for back as u get kicked around the place
