New Schwalbe Tires for trade - NobbyNic/RocRon for Racing Ralph

Just wondering if anyone has any new 2.1 Racing Ralph Evo (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/M...?ModelID=21553) tires they would like to trade for Nobby Nic or Rocket Ron tires (Evo). I also have a Nobby Nic Snake Skin tire.

All my tires are new and never used (I have them in a few sizes) and I'm looking for new Racing Ralphs only.

Nahh sorry, needs to be new - to be sure to be sure... I have lots of low milage tires but for racing I want ones that are new or that only I (or Mel) have ridden (so I know their history).

Schwalbe are having a very busy time fullfilling all their orders so our best bet is swapping ones we haven't used/don't need for ones we do need. We have lots of NN tires but we don't tend to use them much.

I'm offended now, as is my Nobby Nic! On the scrap heap after ridden once by me, I'm not that brutal you know!

One day Ryan, when you are old and fat and no longer on the top of your game you'll come crawling back looking for any old tyres, and I won't forget this day!

i have four 215/45/17 coming off the scooby if u want them, they are fairly shiny, like my head, but free..
600 for a new set, ouch that's €6 every week on car rubber, what a waste.
also been wondering where does all this rubber end up. not just from the car but from the bikes too.
some day we are going to go to powerscourt and the waterfall will have turned black.

For riding/training, I use whatever I have, I don't change tires if the weather changes and use the same thing year round. I love the racing ralph tire on the rear and I'm out of them now, they roll very fast, lots of grip and pretty light.

Don - it will be a LONG time by the time I run out of "any old" tires :)

I'm interested Terry, but I need to know a bit more about their history. What were they doing on last October the 27th at, oh lets say, 1.36pm?

here is the thing
my car tyres cost about 3 times more than the bike ones.
so we are all being shafted on tyres big time for our biking.
wonder would the IDA back me to set up an irish bike tyre factory.!

Ahh, the other thing is when you spend €400 getting to a race abroad (or more) you don't want to use something you are not comfortable with. Heading out to the hills for a spin, I wouldn't care what I'm using along as it is grippy enough... On race day, tires make a big difference.

Setting up a tire factory - another thing that needs to setup a single chain ring keeper company... They look super simple but they are only available for 45-100€. It couldn't be THAT hard...
