Wanted : 2nd Hand Intro MTB

Im new enough to this game and have been riding on an old Giant Terrano that I had borrowed from a friend of mine.

Im looking to pick up a 2nd hand bike, doesnt need to be top of the range by any means but looking for a good deal.

So, Im 5ft9, looking to spend no more than about 450 if possible but looking for a good deal that will last me for a year or two.

Looking for a hard-tail of some sort, one that doesnt have brakes that jam going uphill...

Stu H here, good to see you venturing into the world of MTB, those all in one lyrca suits aren't for everyone ;-) Fat fecker will source a good machine for you I'm sure. Enjoy the mud splattered winter spins and try not to fall too much!! You might also find a slim fella in the new Sprocket Cycles in Bray (easy to find beside the Centra as you enter Bray from Greystones in the Vevay, can't be more than five mins from you) that might know where to source a bike for you too!!
