I've just set up my wheels with the Stans tubeless, but one of the NEW tyres (Maxxis Ignitor) has a small pin hole in the sidewall (thanks CRC:mad:). It seems to be holding with the sealant but is it blow on a ride? Should I put a patch in the inner sidewall?

It will hold. I have three slices on my Highroller and the sealant holds it.
