What pads is everyone using?

I tried the search button before people ask.

Im looking into changing pads soon and would like to see what people are using/find the best.

I have a cheap pair on my hardtail and they suck cant remember the brand, and i have avids on my other bike which are good.

Any recomendations?

I would have always used OEM pads but recently bought some Superstar Avid pads from Declan - I can't tell the difference and they're a fraction of the price!

Those are some cheap pads, nice one.

I was trying to get you to buy those pads about a year ago Richard!! They work just as well as Avids own pads and are waayy cheaper.

Indeed, I have had to put the butler on a 6 day week, we've replaced all our silk sheets with Egyptian cotton, and only 300 thread count at that, and the ducks haven't been de-feathered in 3 weeks. When will the madness end?

Those superstar pads are cheap alright but i was informed by someone who used them that they wear out very quickly, bit of a false economy.

I just bought the Kevlar Superstar pads for the Saints - savage yokes altogether - threw my off the bike like a buckin' bronco they did
and they're red, they peek their little red-tabbed heads out from your black callipers and scream out little yelps of "bitchin' " and "pimped"
and not too expensive when bought in bulk

here now, the whole poxy country is a false economy, what difference are a few brakes pads gonna make?

Organic pads all the way... wouldn't touch anything else..

I have these great pads, they are organic on the leading edge for initial bite, with a semi metallic, sintered 'sweet spot' in the middle and a full metal on the trailing edge for longevity. The stop 11% faster, last 134% longer and weigh 7% less than the 2009 version.

Get up the yard with your pad fixations!!! What would Colin say, Pulley, pulley, stoppy stoppy!!!

Anyone who spends all their time touching organic pads needs help, what about a nekkid volley ball chick covered in chocolate?
