Sealskinz are good to a point, but when the going gets tough they fail and become a liability, as they just fill with freezing water. I think they are a bit of a joke.
If you don't want to blow â¬150 on waterproof boots the overshoes are the way to go, but they wont last long if you have to hike a bike on every spin.
If you have the money and are happy to do it, it's hard to argue with the boots.
Graham just buy proper winter boots..... full stop... forget about overshoes and sealskin socks.. they are both as sh1te as each other offroad.. ignore anyone who tells you otherwise and add them to your list of gobsh1tes to ignore in the future...
Buy proper winter boots and you won't need anything else.. wear your normal socks with them and your feet will be grand and toasty all day long... guaranteed...

Nicely put Richie. Anyway,I'm feeble and get cold feet even with winter boots on, but best thing I bought in a long time are merino wool socks, very warm, and stay warm even if they get wet. I was in Rimlick on Saturday and it was pretty chilly and wet and I had them on with normal shoes and I was toasty, highly recommended
you're one of those nicely turned out well spoken metros who work in HR i was talking about !! when the looting starts and we have to sautee our favourite cats and eat with our fingers..you'll be fcuked !
