bar ends

are they of anyuse, i find on more open section's of trails that my hands sit at right angles to the bars out towards the brake levers..........cheers

i've had enough of the rampant crap on my forum..
I'll point you at Robin Seymour..
go to races..copy him, copy his bike set up..or Joes,Alfies,Hicks, Damos, Nialls, Oisins or Gerry if he turns up.
If you see any of them using overshoes, Barends or twisty gears.. then do it..
thats it..they are the best mtbers that have ever rode a bike in Ireland, apart from Giller and Pennyfeather, Brady,Byrnes but as they don't bother their arse..end of story..
pay no attention to what anybody else says or does or you will be wasting your time. I should know, there is nobody senior to me in the Country and my word is Gospel..

no i hold the brake levers between my thumb and two fingers and the end of the bar between the plam and the little and ring finger..........i know it wierd but it feels more relaxed when not going through the hard/down hill stuff:8)
