Not really Don... bleed kits in general are 'expensive' considering what they are.. just two syringes and some rubber hose..
But.. in saying that... buying the proper kit for your brakes makes bleeding them much easier and a whole lot messier than a home made jobby..

AFAIK.. the Avid bleed kit fittings will work with the Formula's... but the only thing is... its twice as expensive...

I bought an avid set off ebay for a tenner including postage and a 1/4 L of dot fluid and had no problem using them - might be worth a look.

The avid kit does work with formula, you can get it in dublin for 35e incl oil.
But I bled mine 3 times, I'm sure there is no air in them but there is still no power. the lever doesn't feel spongy either.
I bought a new set after changing pads, discs and oil on current oro k24. merlin doing good deals on elixcirs and oro's
