If this helps - the freeride version is one size bigger than you would expect so get one size smaller or you will loose your big toe nails when you crash.
Not the best put together shoes I've ever owned and they are a bit stiff in the heel part of the sole which hurts when you bail out but the grip is about the best i've seen on flats, beats the crap out of Vans or Addidas ROM.
