Time for a thread hi-jack - Gerry - have you any experience in routing brake cables through those silly holes in frames they have these days?
I'm getting a frame that has the infernal cable routing, and have no idea if it uses internal sleeves to help guide the cables though or wha' ....

As far I know Fergal, gerbils are inserted into the frame during the manufacturing process, they are trained to pull the cables through. You have been feeding them haven't you?

The cable routing shouldn't be a problem, you might have to cut off the olive and any fittings first as they might not fit through the entry / exit holes in frame.. I'd recommend doing it without fluid in the system as well.. it can get messy and you don't want to ruin your nice new paint job..
In the past I've used an inner gear cable / wire to fish through the frame first (kinda like Don's Gerbil) and then attach it to the hose or outer casing and pull it through.. some manufactures make it easier than others but it has never been a big issue..
Now... I hate to break this to you... but I zoomed in on the picture and I can't see any bottle cage mounts... are you completely mentalist in the head or what..??
There's a perfectly good high nelly on some other thread that has five bottle cage mounts.. FIVE...!!

re; the cage mounts, I'm not worried as apparently you can put water into the shock cannister and attach a hose to the valve and suck out of it and off you go, away in a hack etc... Don told me that - and Don is very trustworthy

I have Raleigh universal bleed kits for â¬20..they work feckin deadly ffor avids and other brakes....I despise tool borrowing floozies !
I don't think anyone in their right mind would borrow your tool....
