That looks like a Cannondale Si headcup..? You must be using either a Lefty or Headshok..? which would make it a 1.5" headtube..
Regarding the depth of the cups.. you'll have to check the headtube of your frame to see if there is an edge that the headcup butts up against when its pressed into the frame.. measure how deep this edge is..
If there is no edge then the headset should fit just fine..
'edge' is about 10mm deep on both ends. Just had a look at the FSA headset datasheets and seems yours will not fit. They have other options available in the Orbit 1.5R reducer sets, which could be an option for me.
Best off getting something like this for a Cannondale... they can be a bit tricky when it comes to headsets.. The FSA Orbit 1.5R is a semi-integrated headset with a flush upper and lower cup.. a lot of Cannondale's don't like flush lower cups due to limited fork crown clearance on the downtube.. as in your fork crown may hit the downtube when you turn the bars... damaging the frame..
I would love to keep my Headshok but the upkeep costs are ri·dic·u·lous for an older fork and replacing the whole steering and fork section works out a lot less expensive now. My first XC and can still rebuild into another 10.5kg beast of 14yrs young.

As for the Headshok... they are often dismissed / ignored by the masses as being a gimmick... but the Headshok is actually an amazing piece of kit.. its been around for years now and is still in production today.. Yes, they are more expensive to maintain but even the first generation ones can be fully rebuilt from the ground up.. with all new internals, bearings and races etc.. you can keep them going for years.. although if it is an 80mm Headshok then I'd get rid of it..
Nothing I've used comes close to the plushness & bump sensitivity of the Headshok / Lefty system... as they run on bearings rather than bushings..
