Coillte have gone and felled the trees at the top of the red road..Disco stu is now under crap..the best descent looks like its been raped by a monkey with a slash hook.
Its a fantastic place and now it looks like Chechnya on a bad day.

you can't blame the feckin ravers for not giving a sh1t.they probably thought they were in Finglas or one of those places where the law does not go !! the state of the place with oil drums fooked around the place and massive tyre tracks and I love the way they leave the branches fooked everywhere !!
where were the coonts that wave their poles at us when we ride respectfully and cleanly around the place. I bet if we went up there and ran a race without asking they would be on us like a rash..but a heap of ravers and scumbags can sh1t themselves into a frenzy and burn half the forest down and nobody says anything to them.

The place has gone to hell...I was over there one night last week on one of Robin's trails, cant think of the name of it?? anyways i was beating along a nice bit of single track living the dream THEN BOOOM there in front of me in full sight some young fella and his girl getting down and busy with it!! On the feckin single track...at least move over abit...I never seen anyone get the knickers up as quick in my life...the young lad was so not impressed, i totaly ruined his spin...

No, unfortunately, they didn't.
I was there yesterday afternoon, heading up that really steep hill that leads to the middle car park I passed two fires - and there were burnt out tents and piles of cans everywhere.
It was like night of the living dead, with zoned-out ravers coming down off god-knows-what walking out of the lower car park.
Haha he had the right rubber on anyway Don, the presure might have been abit high but he was moving at speed on off camber slippy roots when I seen him...
That happened in Cloon aswell , tonnes of what i could only describe as scumbags were camping on Colins' trail . Had no respect for the place ,threw a can at my friend as we rode by. They left the place in an absolute state too.
I remember one night cycling by a gang of heads on my brompton and they started to slag me about being a puff on a clowns bike! (can't say I blamed them).
I stopped as I was not in the mood to take any bull, Suddenly, something came flying out of the darkness and hit me square on the nose, It was a Birkenstock (gay sandal).
So I stuck it into my jacket and legged it home and binned it.
An hour or so later I heard an argument outside my house as this girl cursed her boyfriend for throwing her sandal away.
O how i laughed.
Really sorry to hear about Djouce, Richie. I enjoyed the XC champs (and the NPS the year before) there last year and dare I say it, it was a better and more varied terrain race track than Kilruddery was this year.
I've have 2 forests that myself and Denis had built trails in get chopped down too. it's very soul destroying :mad:
