Djouce Spin

Hey John,

Is this spin open to everyone or just club members? I am fairly new to the mountain biking and was looking to do some other trails than just Ballinastoe and 3 Rock, as I don’t know any of the trails around Djouce it would be the job to tag along, however as my experience is only the two Coillte trails at my own pace I would be worried about holding you up.

Well that was a great spin - really enjoyed it - wet and slippery in places but I'll get the hang of the SPD things eventually.

Good group out today - Mick I hope the leg is OK, looked nasty, did it need stitches?

Well, that was a fairly eventful one for me anyways. That was a great spin until it went wrong for me, particularly Gran Canaria - and especially that head-the-ball route that you went at the end of the fast section John.
Thanks a million for pointing me in the direction of the VHI clinic in Dundrum, I'd be sitting like a spare tool in A&E all day otherwise. And there's worse ways of spending the afternoon than getting loads of attention from some cute nurses.
The bad news - quite a few stiches and absolutely no cycling (neither mountain or road) or sea swimming for the next ten days. In the last year the longest I've gone without either is two days. So "b0llocks" is all i can say to that.

Sorry Adrian it was a very mean thing to say - but Max is really flying isn't he - seems to be getting quicker by the day!
